Terms & Conditions: Travel Photo Competition

Here are the terms and conditions which apply to Stadn Ltd.’s My Best Travel Photo competition. Please read them carefully, as they contain important information you should know.

Can I play?
This competition is open globally, but you will need to be registered to the UK Apple App and Google Play stored to download the app. You can’t enter this promotion if you (or your immediate family including parents, children, siblings, partner and grandparents, or housemates) are directors, management, employees, officers or contractors of Stadn Ltd.

How do I play?
To enter you will need a smartphone and you will need to download the Remote Medical Support app from either Apple App or Google Play stores. You don’t have to buy anything to enter. The app is free to download and you are not required to buy any of the paid features unless you want to. Once you download the app, you will need to register with your details. As part of the competition, you will need to take a photo of yourself using the app in an amazing location abroad. You will then need to write a short paragraph about your favourite feature in the App, and take a picture of yourself and your phone displaying that feature in an amazing location abroad. There is no specific format, just be creative! Please send your photo as well as your paragraph to competition@remotemedicalsupport.com and let us know where in the world you took your photo. You can enter between 9.00am UTC on X July 2017 and 11:59pm UTC on 1 September 2017. Your entry is received at the time Stadn Ltd. receives it. Incomplete and invalid entries will not be accepted. If your entry does not arrive for any reason, that’s not Stand Ltd.’s fault. You can enter more than once, but only one of your entries could win one of our prizes.

How do you pick the winner?
The winner will be selected by a panel of 3 judges, who will review all eligible entries and then decide by a majority vote from the panel the 5 best overall entries. The voting will occur at Stadn Ltd, South Terrace, Nova South, 160 Victoria Street, SW1E 5LB (or at an undisclosed location otherwise determined as required by Stadn Ltd.)

Stadn Ltd. reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct that is designed to jeopardise the fair conduct of the promotion or is generally damaging to the reputation of Stadn Ltd., or has otherwise breached these conditions of entry.

Stadn Ltd. can cancel or modify the promotion if there are compelling technical or administrative reasons which we cannot control. If that happens, Stadn Ltd. will select the winners from all eligible entries received at that time.

What can I win?
5 winning photos and corresponding paragraphs will be chosen from the submissions. Each of these winners will receive £100. The winners and other outstanding entries will be displayed on the Remote Medical Support website and social media page. All applicants will be credited for their photos.

How do I find out if I won?
Winners will be contacted via the same email address they used to submit their competition entries. We shall also be publishing the winning entries along with the names of the winners on our Remote Medical Support website and social media platforms shortly after the winners are contacted directly. If, despite our best efforts, the contacted winner has not accepted the prize 1 month after being told via email that they have one, the next best entry will then be declared a winner and receive the full prize money. 

If you do win…
To receive your prize money, you may be asked to provide proof of your identity. We shall decide whether we think the proof of identity is acceptable, however in general a copy of either a valid passport or drivers licence should be sufficient. If you are unable to provide suitable proof for any reason you will be disqualified from the competition and another winner shall be chosen from the entries received. The prize money cannot be transferred to anyone other than the winner and cannot be exchanged for anything else. You will be responsible for the way in which you use the prize money and must make sure to comply with all relevant laws, rules and regulations.

Stadn Ltd. is not responsible for:

1. The loss of prize money after it has been transferred to the winners.  

2. The theft of prize money

What happens to my entry?
All entries are of course the property of the photographer and therefore shall be credited when they appear on our social media platforms. By entering the Remote Medical Support Photo Competition, you are giving Stadn Ltd. a worldwide irrevocable licence to reproduce, publish, adapt, communicate and broadcast all or part of your photo in any form and media. You are also giving us the licence to edit, re-use, store, reproduce and communicate your entry in any medium. Generally, we will attribute you as the author where possible, but in some circumstance, we may decide not to.

The personal information you provide when submitting your entry will only be used to contact you if you are one of our 5 lucky winners. If you win a prize your name and picture will be posted on our social media platforms. We will keep all other personal information private.
